Target group:
Boys and Girls up to 12 years, especially from new clubs that participated in the Kids Category this year for the first time.

50

Number of spectators:
About 100 people

Program:
One Day Round Robin Kids Tournament with the teams of  Athletics HC “A”, Athletics HC “B”, Hato Rey HC, CH Deportivo Nacional. PUR National Junior Team participated as umpires of the event.

Aim of the event:
Involve Hockey Clubs in Puerto Rico, who don’t have Kids Teams. The Puerto Rico Hockey Federation made a new rule this year that every club is compulsory to participate in the Kids Tournament (Under-12).

Result of the event:
1. Athletics HC “A”, 2. Hato Rey HC, 3. Athletics HC “B”, 4. CH Deportivo Nacional. Top Scorer: Bryan Marquez (Athletics HC “B”), Best Goal Keeper: Luis Ocasio (Athletics “B”).

Hato Rey HC, the Club with the most Mens National Champs (17) in Puerto Rico played for the first time played in Kids Category.  CH Deportivo Nacional, a new Club in Puerto Rico (established in 2007), was represented for the first time too.

Follow up:
In September we schedule our Kids National Championship, with all clubs in Puerto Rico participating.
