Program:
8 league matches

Aim of the event:
To sensitize the hockey fraternity, targeting the youth on the dreaded H.I.V/AIDS epidemic which has claimed lives of fellow hockey family members & to avail free services to the hockey family.

Outcomes of the event:
Over 80 players, officials & fans were voluntarily tested. Awareness was enhanced through counseling and printed paraphernalia. Enjoyment achieved by way of hockey matches and other entertainment that included music.

Follow up:
To hold more V.C.T sessions.

Organized by:
Kenya hockey union in conjunction with Liverpool care & treatment non-government organization.

TV and Media Coverage:
Event covered by 5 national TV stations and 6 national newspapers & 4 radio stations covered the event.
