What was the aim of the event?
To promote hockey as a Sport for Everybody

Description of the event
Youth Hockey activities for boys and girls, demonstration from famous players and coaches, incentives for youth, distribution of Marathon shirts to all participants and officials. A big Marathon banner was made and all activities were video recorded. Similar programmes were organised in other parts of the country.

Follow-up from the event
To involve people from all walks of life to take up hockey. Similar events will be promoted in the regions at all levels
