3 Different events in Malaysia

The Marathon in Malaysia was held on 3 different dates and locations:

1. April 10 to 18 in Kuantan, National Under-15 Championship, where 216 people took part
2. Commenced on May 7 Nationwide, Junior Hockey League Under 19, with 360 participants
3. Commenced on May 14 Kuala Lumpur, Coaching Clinic for Under 12 (every Friday and Sunday), with 50 – 70 coaches each session.
   The aim of these events was to unearth new talent, to encourage competitiveness and thereby enjoy the game of hockey and to promote and popularize the game amongst the masses.

It was highly successful. Parents got involved especially in the Under-12 Clinics.
Results of the event: The State of Terengganu won the Under-15 Tournament. The final in the Junior Hockey League will be held on August 1
Follow-up of the event will be that the above will be an annual affair. The Under 12 Clinics will go on indefinitely. The same will be organized nationwide.
