Pakistan turned on the style in the second half to socre three goals in a 3-0 win against the Sydney silver medallists, Korea. In front of another huge partisan crowd, the Asian side found the net at regular intervals with popular hero Sohail Abbas sealing the triumph with one of his trademark penalty corner strikes.
Korea couldn't be faulted for effort but it was Pakistan's pace on the break and skills in attack which proved decisive and helped keep them on track in the race for a place in the last four.

"I've lived in Athens for four years and haven't seen a hockey or a cricket match. This is fantastic!"
