The Competitions Manager of the hockey tournament of the 2008 Olympic Games Sun Chengmin received the FIH President's Award on the final day of the Olympic hockey event in Beijing, China on Sunday. Sun Chengmin received the award from FIH President Els van Breda Vriesman.

The FIH President praised the Competitions Manager for his excellent work during the last seven years. From the moment Beijing was elected as host city of the 2008 Olympic Games, Sun Chengmin made sure that the hockey tournament turned out to be an extremely successful event.
